Rosy sweet Rosy!

Rosy is only 9 months old! Unfortunately her owners are moving home and are unable to take her with them. She has to date spent her life as an indoor cat so would suit either as an indoor cat or as one that is able to go outdorrs as well. But not as an outdoor cat only. Patience would be needed if you want her to go outside as well and we would help you with how to do this as safely as possible for her -don't forget she will never have been near a car or heard one. She is fit and well, has been neutered and vaccinated. She is playful and affectionate and has had the run of the whole house. She would not be suitable with children or dogs.
This is Susie

She was a stray and at the time was pregnant. However, we captured her and found homes for her kittens. She has since been neutered and vaccinated and is now a well fed and very happy cat. Susie is happy outdoors and in. She loves being indoors and enjoying the warmth and softness of a cat bed and the ability to come in from outside whenever she pleases. Her forever home will be a place where she is allowed to come and go - she was used to a cat flap when we took her in so we assume she must have lived somewhere with one at some time. She has a very good appetite and thoroughly enjoys her food which is all the brand names. She loves giving and receiving affection. She is a very clean girl and uses a litter tray with no difficulties. She is tolerant of some other cats but it will depend on their nature towards her. We would not home her where there is a dog as we do not know enough of her history to know what she would be like with them. She really does deserve a new loving forever home...can you give her what she needs?
Little Oliver (Ollie)

He is around a year old and has been cared for by a group of people in Brodick. He has learnt to trust them and is feeding well, is in good health and shows affection. He is shy and apprehensive of sharp and loud noises. His ideal home would be with a single person or couple who has time for him and will continue to develop the trust he is learning. He needs to be in a rural setting; a town or city placement would not suit this wee fellow! He will reward this time and devotion in equal measure. His life has been up to now one of survival, can you offer him a home of love and care, one in which he need not fear again? In which he can rest and sleep without one eye open always alert to dangers around him. (he will not be suited to a home with children) Please find a place for Oliver!
This is Holly! A very affectionate girl.

We have no details about her other than she was in Pirnmill. She is very friendly and very affectionate, yet she is extremely nervous as though she has been handled roughly at one time. She needs a loving home! One in which she is cared for with patience and love. It may take a while to gain her trust. But not long! She loves a tummy tickle! Adores being cuddled! She now responds to the name of Holly. She has been vaccinated, neutered and chipped. She is very very clean ..we are sure she does her own housework! A quiet home without children and dogs. A town or city placement would be very unnerving and likely frightening experience. So somewhere quiet - a village setting similar to Pirnmill or rural would be best for Holly. She really needs a home she call her own and has been in care for long enough...PLEASE HELP.
Homing Details
When considering giving a home to a cat or cats please do not consider homing a cat as a present for your children. This is a commitment to a living creature and is a responsibility for the next 10-20 years. We try to home cats based on their needs where they will be cared for their lifetime. We appreciate that each of us have circumstances and lifestyles that can change over time which is why cats come into care.
So we ask you to please try and reduce the upheaval and changes for them too by thinking carefully about why you want a cat. We are not judgemental about why a cat comes into our care but we do consider the cat first when it comes to placing them in a new home. So please if we suggest that a cat may not be suited to you, please do not be offended as its the needs of the cat rather than you we are considering.
We do everything we can to ensure that your cat has received only the best standards of care while they were with us. We love them as if they are our own! We aim to give all cats leaving our care the very best new start in their life. Of course, housing and food as well as veterinary care/treatment, neutering, microchipping and vaccinations all have to be paid for. Average costs to cover neutering, vaccinations and microchipping are £150 per cat/kitten. So we ask all our new adopters for a fee of £35 - whilst this doesn't cover the whole cost it helps us to continue the work for more cats needing our help and yours! Charging a fee means that we can be certain that all the aspects of owning a cat, including the financial responsibilities, can be met by our potential adopters. You can if you wish make a donation over this sum which will help us in finding a new home for another cat or kitten .
We also work with Petplan, the UK's leading pet insurer, who offer four weeks' worth of free pet insurance for adopters of CP cats. We can also provide support, help and guidance on getting your new cat settled with you.
If you feel you cannot afford an adoption fee but would love to give a home to a cat please talk to us. Owning a cat comes with regular food costs, accessories and vet bills. We want to help everyone, whatever their means, to have a cat they can love and share their life with. We just have to be certain that every cat's needs will be met.
